💔 My Beautiful Boy, Our Smiley Banjo, Went to Sleep

On Friday, our hearts broke. 😢 My dear Banjo, our beautiful, ever-smiling boy, slipped away, and I’m so sorry to share this sorrow with all his friends.

His decline was so sudden, a matter of days. 😔 Scans and X-rays revealed multiple tumors that had silently spread to other organs 💔. He hid his pain so well, masking his suffering from all of us.

I lay beside him on the floor, my arm wrapped around him, as he drifted into sleep for the last time 😢💔. No more suffering. No more pain. But oh, how I miss him already. Our hearts are shattered 💔😢.

He was loved by so many of you, and I can’t thank you enough for showing him that love ❤️🐶. He cherished every encounter, every friend, old and new, always with that bright, joyful smile of his ☺️.

He was the best boy I could have ever dreamed of. When I adopted him in February 2015, I made him a promise: “Banjo, when the time comes, I will never let you suffer.” 💔

I like to think we gave him a good home, a full life, and a gentle farewell. A life filled with love. A goodbye filled with kindness 💔🐶❤️.

Rest in peace, my precious, beautiful Banjo 🐶💔😢. Your paw prints will forever remain on our hearts.
